My name is Richard Ziss, and I am a lifelong resident of New Jersey! My passion is working as a full-time piano technician since 1981. I am a proud graduate of the advanced String Keyboard Instrument Technology Program at the North Bennet Street School in Boston. My unique “Two-and-a-half Pass” concert tuning method ensures unsurpassed tuning stability.

Unlike others in the industry, I dedicate at least 75 minutes to every tuning. Each client of mine has a specific budget and skill level – and all of them receive the same great care and attention!

I previously served as the President of the New Jersey chapter of the Piano Technicians Guild. As a registered piano technician, I am required to maintain my skills and adhere to a strict code of ethics. In addition, I stay current with all the latest trends and innovations in the piano service industry!
