The piano is mostly made of wood. Severe changes in humidity and temperature will cause the piano to lose it’s tuning quickly.

The good news is that there are more quality used pianos for sale now than at anytime in my years of experience. The bad news is that many used pianos belong in the dump.

Recently stumbled upon a video put together by a group in Sweden, who transformed a regular old set of cement stairs into a piano.
