Our beautiful Yamaha grand was no longer holding a tune. Richard tuned it but it fell out of tune in a week. He recommended a “pin job” which is a very cost effective way to re-solidify the pin board. Richard did this (a very meticulous process) and then he retuned the piano. Richard Ziss was highly recommended to us by two professional musicians and we called him to tune our piano prior to having an evening of music and fun in our home.
What a professional he is!!! He came exactly at the scheduled time and used both his ears and a computer to put our piano back in the shape in which it should have been maintained. He, himself, is a musician and he played periodically during the tuning period to check tone and be sure the piano was restored properly. He checked and re-checked during the tuning and continually adjusted to be sure the piano sounded great when he was finished.
You won’t believe that it is your piano when he is finished. We HIGHLY recommend him!!
